Sandals for Achilles tendonopathy that are not hideous!

Can anyone recommend? I like the style of the Teva Hurricanes, but read with the low/zero heel drop they are not good. I want sandals that look stylish (F, 46) and not orthopedic. Thank you

I've got achilles issues (calcification) and just bought Teva Hurricanes. I also read about the zero drop but I love foot shaped shoes and they all tend to be zero drop, if not barefoot. I'm hoping to strengthen mine gradually.

Interested in this. I have a severe Achilles tendinosis and haven't changed shoes at all. I do walk round the house barefoot or just in socks.
The key to being able to get down the stairs in the morning though is a hot bath every evening.

I've stopped walking barefoot as this is really bad for Achilles tendonopathy.... I miss it! I walked barefoot for years. With AT there needs to be a heel drop of some sort so that the "push off" doesn't stretch the Achilles.

I have this badly and it flares up all the time. These are the best things I have found, I wear them in the house all the time. My Achilles have been fucked since I was about 10 and nothing has helped as much as these flipflops. I never have bare feet now.
They aren’t ’nice’, the kindest thing I can say is that they are inoffensive and look like normal flipflops not orthopedic shoes.

they do some platform ones which look ok with wide trousers.

I have been experimenting with Birkenstocks. The hard ones are too much but the soft sole ones are ok. They are too flat though. I am hypermobile so ideally need to swap shoes throughout the day.
i prefer wearing heels as it takes the strain off the tendon, for nice flat shoes I like the Sam Edelman sandals that have a tiny wedge. No actual arch support though.

I wear Isabel Marant Beckett wedges a lot as the back is really high and padded so cushions the tendon. The toes are really flat though so I can’t wear them all day.

Sympathy to everyone.
