Will my Dr Martens Gryphon sandals stretch?

They fit everywhere except tight across the first strap. Wondering of other people’s have stretched?

I only bought DrMaren's sandals once and they were amongst the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. I tried and tried but they never gave at all.

Gave them to a charity shop in the end. I hope other posters prove me wrong on your behalf.

Hi, I’ve got several pairs of these and find them really comfortable.
Some DM sandals take some wearing in but the Gryphons were comfy from day 1 until my Clarissa’s which I’m still struggling wear in.
if you have a shoe stretcher the leather can be stretched with these although some on the DM lovers Facebook pages suggest using tennis balls, newspaper and freezers (I’ve never tried these but have stretched some shoes using a stretcher and the they were much better after)

I’ve got these and they’re so comfy and I get blisters from pretty much every shoe but I don’t think mine have stretched.
