Tesco potato stars

I miss the Tesco potato stars. They were better than the asda ones or the branded smiles or waffles that are all still available, probably because they were greasier and even worse for you. (Actually, I could swear that the smiles used to be greasier, too.)

My kid and I only had them every few weeks, but I miss them.😭

(The kid doesn't seem too bothered, so I guess that's a blessing at least.)

My husband bought them a few weeks ago even though they're not on the online shopping site. They are so much nicer than Smiles and Asda stars! Have you checked in person?

No! I will look, but can't get there in person until next week.

I had no idea what these are but Google tells me that Morrisons and Heron sell them and Iceland do them but only at Christmas, with Christmas trees as well as stars.

I finally made it to Tesco and yes, they have them! I'm not sure if I'm more thrilled they still exist or more cross that Tesco doesn't deliver them (because my Tesco is in the opposite direction to anyplace else I ever need to go).

Not helpful but I miss Birds Eye potato fritters. They were so good dipped in salad cream.
