Can anyone recommend a comfortable office chair?

Hi, I have a small budget of £150 for an office chair. The main thing I care about is (hardly surprisingly) comfort for long hours of sitting WfH.

Has anybody purchased one recently that has wowed you? If so, please share 😊

It's both comfy and sturdy with a breathable back support in the hot weather. I thought it was a bargain for the price- I've been using it solidly now for a year.

@AccidentallyOnTrend I bought a very comfortable office chair (£25) from a British Heart Foundation furniture shop - you can try it for size and comfort - for a few extra quid they'll deliver - good hunting 🙂

Way over your budget, but I would suggest considering a refurbished Herman miller Areon

Or look locally for one on eBay, they're often at good prices as they are expensive to ship.

They're very comfortable, last, are repairable easily, the one I'm sitting on is going strong after 27 years!

Have you seen those adverts for chairs where you can flip a side side down for the cat? They’re all over Facebook. I got one in January and I love it. It’s wide enough that I can sit cross legged. I suspect the seat will eventually go flat but I’ll deal with it by getting a cushion but so far it’s good

There's no substitute for trying one out in person. Can you find a used office furniture place near you? You can often get an excellent quality chair slightly used.
