if the buggy board is a brand......what type of brand it is supposed to be?????

as there is one going on Freecycle and i asked her nicely what brand it is (as her ad is ("Offered - Buggy board needs new fixings (that attach to pram)") but she told me to "Google it!!!"

i thought if i knew then i wouldnt ask her!!

I always thought a buggy board just what it was called and you could get it in different brands but I just googled it (as your nice lady suggested) and it appears it is a brand of its own www.buggyboard.info

Sorry, I don't know - I've not owned one either, I'm just trying to decide whether we need one for when DC2 comes along.

here

CarGirl · 23/06/2008 16:09

depends which version how easy the parts are to get hold of. Cheeky Rascals are the UK distributor so ring them.

fryalot · 23/06/2008 16:10

fittings for the older models are not very easy to get hold of.

BUT... you can get some long nutty bolty type things from your local DIY store that will do the job just as well (panel pins I think they are)

popmonkey · 23/06/2008 16:10

We got an extra pair of fittings from JoJo Maman Bebe. They were £15.

I have a buggy board and, although it does have its uses, does make my pram very unwieldy and difficult to push (I have a Jane stroller). I don't know if it is just the way DH has attached our board, but it does make it harder and I feel 'further away' from the handles that makes it uncomfortable...

Nemoandthefishes · 23/06/2008 16:14

I have a seat 2 go board that will be looking to sell if your interested BL. I only used it twice as DD1 decided she preferred to walk.

CarGirl · 23/06/2008 16:14

trick is to attach it so the board is as close as the pushchair as possible without it interefering with the wheels.

biglips · 23/06/2008 20:29

ooh nemo - how much are u looking to sell it for?
