Pillow talk!

Inspired by a thread at the moment about what luxury things are worth the extra money…so many people mentioned bed sheets which I was surprised at, I only ever buy the cheapest ones in supermarkets so where are you getting your luxury sheets? I feel like I’m missing out on an experience. 🤣

Also pillows themselves. I’m fed up of buying new (admittedly fairly cheap) ones and they just go flat within weeks! Where can I get lovely thick hotel quality pillows from that don’t lose shape?

Mine is from Ikea. It’s a memory foam one but it’s sort of round and padded. I love it

High quality bedding is so much softer than supermarket. I get mine from the big department stores in the sale. John Lewis, House of Fraser, Debenhams etc. Always 100% cotton, never polyester mix. Look for a high thread count.
If you want particular brands, Sheridan is nice, but the premium own brand ones are good too.

I recently bought a luxury pillow from tempur following recommendations on here. I'm not particularly fussed about it though if I'm honest. It's a sort of squidgy foam that starts each night great but flattens overnight.

My current lovely pillow is from John Lewis.
They come in soft medium or firm, are machine washable and don't flatten overnight. £20.

I love my bamboo duvet - got that off brand alley. Dunelm have good cotton high thread count bedding (dorma) and they’ve a good selection of pillows I also second ikea for pillows - and ikea have a good selection of pure cotton bedding that just gets softer with each wash. I like goose down duvets but I’ve never been able to afford one of the fancy ones that I’ve lusted after for years. It all helps towards a good nights sleep.
