Oven mate from Lakeland is brill.
I also buy something from Tesco that you can clean the racks in. It comes with a tough plastic bag, you put the racks in with the chemical and leave them for a few hours. Then you just rub and rinse them clean.

oh yes, the lakeland one is fab, does all the work for you and not stinky either - I was so proud I showed my oven to my mum the next time she came

I spent £48 on a professional clean by OvenU. Best money I ever spent. The entire oven was gleaming and I will never clean an oven myself again.

didn't get mine from Lakeland but its the same sort of thing put racks in a bag with chemical stuff and leave it them wash it off, also put in the oven and clean it off it comes off really easily too which is great as i'm a lazy arse when it comes to cleaning my oven properly

I can't remember what the one i got was called by i got it from Wilkinsons and they sell it in Sainsbury's too

ingles2 · 21/06/2008 19:11

goingslowlymad · 21/06/2008 19:19

How often do you all clean your ovens? I am slightly ashamed to admit I usually only do it when moving house which sems to be about every two years.

Bewilderbeast · 21/06/2008 19:20

oven mate, it's excellent and doesn't smell so no fumes, plus you paint it on so there's no real mess

girlandboy · 21/06/2008 19:31

goingslowlymad - lol, I do mine once a year whether it needs it or not

ChocolateHobnob · 23/06/2008 10:24
