Superfit shoes quality?

I’ve just bought my son a pair of Superfit Superfree a couple of weeks ago and the toes are already really scuffed and the writing is rubbing off (which I wouldn’t be worried about on it’s own tbf)

He’s not normally rough on shoes (his last pair of daily shoes he wore for 3 months and they still look almost new) so I’m wondering whether we’ve just had bad luck with this pair or if people have had similar experiences with this brand?

I hate buying shoes online but he also refuses to walk in anything except barefoot shoes so our options are pretty limited and I don’t want to rule them out too quickly but I also can’t afford to keep paying £50+ for shoes that look done in two weeks in 🥲

My superfit experience is with their winter boots, which I’d say are excellent quality, hard wearing, warm, waterproof, were worn as wild child’s day to day shoe for 6 months through winter and still in good condition.

Probably a very different design to a barefoot style summer shoe though.
