Do I need one?????
The hospital booklet I have says that I should bring one with me when I have the baby... but they're SO big! I mean, how much water do I really need for cleaning my little person?

I know they aren't particularly expensive or anything, so it isn't really that big a deal if I never use it... but i'd rather cut down on the unnecessary clutter if I can!

my mum has a balloon phobia, so i was never allowed them when i was little.
maybe that's why i like them so much now

Lucycat · 27/01/2005 13:31

Why do they need to be fully insured - in case a teddy expires and the owners sue?

lowcalCOD · 27/01/2005 13:31

if anyone asks you what you want for the baby say food like lasagne, fish pie etc that you can chuck in the oven and eat onehanded. onehanded food is great to have around cos believe me the other hand will always be doing something (feeding wiping etc)

starlover · 27/01/2005 13:38

good idea NP... my mum is already busy cooking and freezing things for me!
she forgets that my freezer is teeny tiny!

OP posts:
nailpolish · 27/01/2005 13:38

cod you got me

nailpolish · 27/01/2005 13:40

although the lasagne and fish pie is not for the baby - that was all written badly

starlover · 27/01/2005 13:41

hehe yes... imagine:

midwife: are you planning on breastfeeding?

me: no, i've brought some fish pie for the baby
