Best dry shampoo

Looking for recommendations on the best dry shampoo please. Whilst price is not an issue, if it costs 10x more than Batiste I’d like it to be 10x better.

I've never found one as good as Batiste.

Honestly batiste is the best of all the ones I've tried.

doihaveacase · 03/05/2026 08:51

Same here. Batiste works best on my fine hair.

MulberryPeony · 03/05/2026 08:53

Oh! I wasn’t expecting so much love for Batiste. I’m not a big fan of the fragrance but saw they do a fragrance free one now so I’ll give it a go. Thanks all.

Honestly Bastise is the best, I went rogue and bought a can of got2be and it is terrible it just landed like an oil slick on my hair.

IwanttoWFH · 03/05/2026 08:55

Baptiste is the best I’ve tried. Bristows from Savers is also on par.

I’ve tried (expensive) alternatives such as Kitsch and Arkive. Both rubbish!

They have lots of different scents and types, about 20 I think. If you aren't keen on the smell of the original one then definitely try one of the others.

I think Batiste is the best but I also like Boots own brand for brunette hair. Covers grey and smells nice without being overpowering.

donotmissyourchancetoblow · 03/05/2026 11:56

Batiste the sensitive scalp one is fragrance free and doesn’t make your scalp itchy.
I’ve tried loads but they usually end up making my hair feel dry, brittle and so tuggy so I go back to the OG

ForTipsyFinch · 03/05/2026 11:58

Batiste is the best I’ve tried.
