I have an UD which is DS's 'land rover' comfy pushchair for dog walking/rare occasion in the shops.

Heres the jist, also have a mcclaren, which ds refuses to go in now (really hates it) yet he'll go in the UD ok. I need a buggy still to walk the dogs in the woods/over fields so needs to be like the UD, with a swivel wheel, but as light weigh as the mcclaren - but high up like the UD, and also good suspension.

if by some miracle it's umbrella folding it would be even better still. my budget is £50-£60 obv if my ebay sales do well I can have more money on it. Am really after 1 buggy now and getting rid of the other 2 esp as DS is now 2.5, don't want to spend a lot.

any suggestions?

Sorry, being a bit dim what is a UD?

onelittlelion · 19/06/2008 17:43

I guessed urban detour?
Nipper 360 really is light and folds v flat.

CarGirl · 19/06/2008 17:51

old version (no bumper bar) xts twister fold up compact and they have loads of head room my 5 year old still (tested her in it) where as me 2.5 year old was getting a bit tall for the UD

BexieID · 19/06/2008 18:18

I want a Nipper 360. A friend has this Mamu buggy here, although the raincover is pants.

davidtennantsmistress · 20/06/2008 09:51

yse I did mean the urban detour - but it's too heavy with a toddler who tries to get out of it/leans over, and a dog who likes to wander where he wants!

will have a look into the xt then on ebay - does the front wheel swivel?

xts current version does, for the older version you want xts twister

naomi83 · 21/06/2008 20:54

xts weighs 10kg, which is still quite heavy, the nipper is only 7kg, nipper also folds small, problem is finding somebody who wants to sell!

davidtennantsmistress · 21/06/2008 21:24

oh does it - that's not so good, the price is thou - but the UD weighs about 11KG I think, so was really looking for something as light as the mcclaren say 5 or 6KG.

does anyone know if the jogger types work well off road as well for grass/rough terrain?
