Removing gloss paint from clothing

Does anyone have any tips on removing gloss paint from a much loved cotton sweatshirt please?

Only thing that I have found is white spirit but it might spoil the material.

Ahhhhhhh the mistake of thinking "I'll just touch it up, I won't get any on my top..."

You need a new top I think!

Try swarfega - rub it in really well, then wash as normal.
