Silly question I know but I ordered a swimsuit from Next which has just arrived and the bottom feels like that crinkly stuff you get in toys. I thought DD needed an ordinary swimsuit + separate swim nappy so what's the deal with this?

This is the one

that one has the nappy built in

they normally have the swim nappy pant thing sewn in to the swimsuit.

i have bought the jo Jo ones before and they are similar but do work fine.

So she doesn't need any other nappy with it? Seems a bit risky...

it is only designed to hold in poo (not pee) so that is why it has the extra lining. My ds wears his without a seperate disposable swim nappy and has done fine. In all the months we have taken him swimming (about 17) he has never pooed in the pool.
