How can I clean up and restore a 1970's Marmet Pram?

Pram restorers I need your help. I am considering restoring the Marmet pram which did most of my family until the early 80's. Only thing is it has been stored in my GP's loft since 1985 and I know they have had mice so I'm worried about cleaning it well enough for a new baby.

We will be going to look at it in a couple of weeks time. My Mum thinks the hood may need replacing but other than that it was in good condition when packed away, are there places that recover?

I know I need to see it first to find out if it's worth restoring. The main thing worrying me was being able to clean it well enough when it's been stored for 23 years in a loft that's had mice.

Any help, suggestions or experiences greatly recieved.
