Game for in the supermarket? hope someone knows what I mean!!!

I've tried to look on the internet but dont know what to search for because I dont know what its called or even if its made!!

I'm looking for a type of game/activity where little ones have a board of pictures/items that they have to help find in the supermarket? it supposedly helps keep lo's entertained whilst shopping??

Its probably possible to make something like that but I'm not crafty AT ALL!!

sounds like shopping list but you don't take it to the supermarket well i suppose you could

Early Learning Centre have two, Shopping Game and Let's Go Shopping. They're not exactly what you're looking for but you might be able to adapt them for use at the supermarket?

i'm after one that you do take to the supermarket and the dc help find the things on their list? think i saw it originally on supernanny or something like that! I'm sooooo vague tonight arent I!!

Not dissing the game, but with DS I just get him to help - I tell him what I need and ask him to find it (he's only 3 so this isn't going off without me, just finding it on the shelf) and also he loves filling up bags with vegetables etc. Combine that with some time spent in the trolley stuffing his face with snacks and he's happy.

Llynnn, you could easily make a board like that! All you need is a cereal packet (to give you a nice big piece of card), scissors, pritt stick, and then cut pictures out of magazines/catalogues and stick them on. You can do it! Release your inner craftmonster!
