I want an Hermes bag

I want an Hermes handbag. I am obsessed with Love Luxury on social media where they do videos of people shopping for Hermes and now I really want one. I do feel it is important to say that I could never in a million years buy one and I don't regularly carry a handbag, but I still want one! :)

Have you checked out Vestaire? It's like eBay for posh stuff, but they authenticate before sending it on to protect against fakes. I have a few Chanel bags I never could have afforded first hand, all good as new / barely touched.

I think they are gorgeous and I used to want one. I wouldn’t want one now (not that I can afford one 😆). I dunno it’s just an astronomical amount of money for a handbag. If I won the Euro millions I’m not sure I’d pay like £40k/£50k for a bag!

Unlike Chanel Hermes bags cost more 2nd hand than it costs to buy them new.

I went through a love luxury phase too. Have you seen the parodies of them? They are so funny! All my watching of those took the algorithm into showing me people hanging round Hermes for leather appts and showing off hauls. Another world!

Love Luxury videos are addictive. I don’t even like most Hermes bags but those videos have made me want a mini Kelly! I do think they’re staged though. There was one recently where a man and his wife came in to choose a bag. The sales lady laid out several bags and the woman couldn’t make up her mind. So the husband bought them all for her. If it was genuine, he must have dropped about £200k!

I like watching Love Luxury too but I don't understand the appeal of the mini Kelly. They're disproportionately tiny compared to all women and so impractical even for evening. Do you follow nkasuga89on Instagram and Tiktok? She's so chic and fabulous. Her Hermes knowledge and collection is unparalleled, and she actually uses them.
