I thought the hullabaloo over delivery slots was a Covid and Christmas “thing”

You are getting agitated? About an Easter delivery slots??

It’s a nonsense really. Christmas I get. Easter no.

Agitated? Nope - always up at this time. Might as well get the slots we need without any hassle while they're there.

All done much less stressful than Christmas - not sure why people have a problem with it, I was happy to get the reminder.

I booked mine the other day, my regular shopping slots are either side of the Easter weekend , but as we're in a touristy area, the people coming up on holiday that normally wouldn't be in the bun fight will book them up to get shopping delivered to their holiday homes and campsites . Tesco are the only shop that delivers here and they know this, but they don't add extra slots at busier times so we have to be on the ball. Last year they opened up the whole Summer without warning , I found out by chance when going to add something to my order and all my regular slots had been snatched right up to September & I had to keep checking for cancellations. I'm keeping a close eye on them this year so I don't get caught out again.

The Easter slots have been open for some 5 or 6 days now. But having just checked, I see that every single slot for the week before and after Easter is still available. There doesn't seem to be much of a stampede so far!
