Anyone else got a large Vinted pending balance?

No cases raised against me and it's for several items - the last 3 or 4 items I've sold have come through to my main balance straight away but the 3 or 4 before that are sat in Pending as a £50 balance.
I can't see how to ask them what's happening and I also can't see how to work out exactly which items it's on.

How long has it been since delivery?

somanychristmaslights · 23/02/2026 19:52

I’ve just looked at mine and I have a pending balance for £10. But I shouldn’t have. Seems to be from January!!

SaturdayFive · 23/02/2026 19:54

Go into Profile, My Orders, In Progress and all the pending ones are in there. Normally because the buyer has not confirmed receipt/ collected / said the order is ok. I've had one in there for a month!

NotTonightDeidre · 23/02/2026 20:06

Could also be because you need to verify your ID

MissRaspberry · 23/02/2026 20:26

Doesnt the buyer have to confirm they've received the items for vinted to release the payments to you?

Surely the buyer only gets a limited amount of time to accept the item before it auto completes?

I can't actually work it out because it's a few different items and it doesn't specify. But some are at least 2 days.

The only ones In Progress are ones I haven't sent yet.

I don't know how to do this - and I've got more recent ones that have been paid.

I had a transaction like this last week, it was released a few days later. Vinted support were, as usual, unhelpful.

I don't even know which transactions it is unfortunately!

You must be able to work it out? It’s items sold but the buyer hasn’t confirmed acceptance yet.

There are several items where it says "You will receive £X in your balance soon". But it doesn't add up to the amount shown.

I have however just worked out that it's "Items I haven't sent yet" plus £4. I've sold several items for £2 so it must be two of those, but it isn't telling me which it is. A few days ago it was "Items I haven't sent yet" plus about £20 and again it didn't tell me which items were still not released.

Mine was glitchy for at least a week at the end of Jan, no funds being released. Then they sent me a message asking me to prove my identity for fraud checks, I did that and all the pending funds were released 3 days later. Have you checked there’s no notification from them asking to prove your ID?

drspouse · 24/02/2026 08:27

No, I can't see any messages like that.

My delayed one is a royal mail one that's disappeared off tracking, you have to wait 6 weeks for it to be confirmed lost, before they will give a refund.

drspouse · 24/02/2026 20:38

Ah maybe that's it! I have sent a few RM recently.
