Have found one but it's £25 which I think is a bit steep for a splat mat. Any suggestions? Online ideally. Or I could improvise but with what? Brian v tired today. TIA.

Lonelymum · 25/01/2005 18:10

I could flog you one if you like. Say £3 plus p&p?

Lonelymum · 25/01/2005 18:10

PS Who is Brian?!

what about some vinyl-coated cotton, like the stuff you use as a tablecloth? I think it's still about a tenner for a metre though..

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 25/01/2005 18:12

Sorry lonelymum, all about Brian here it's not that interesting though! Would love to buy one, what's it like lonelymum? Shall I CAT you and then I can send you a cheque and you can send me the mat. Fab!

Cheapy showercurtain? Mucho less than £25.

Lonelymum · 25/01/2005 19:03

I have to say, I only used my splat mat for ds1. It is a pain having to clean it all the time. A nice lino floor is much simpler!

There is a 'splash mat' free in this months Practical Parenting - the one in the shops now. Also a free bib and cd.

If anyone is interested.

Newbarnsleygirl · 15/02/2005 08:43

Mothercare £7

we just use the plastic wipeable table cloths you get for parties, etc. ...you just cut them in half and use til can't be a*sed to clean it again, then bin and use another one/other half...@ £1-£2 from woolies/poundstretcher/wilkinsons...
