Walking shoes with retractable spikes

Looking for walking shoes with retractable spikes for walking on ice and hard packed snow. I did see some recommendations but can’t find the thread. Ideally I’m after shoes rather than boots. I’d really appreciate any recommendations.

You can get yak-tracks which go over normal shoes and then you just take them off when you go inside. Would those work?

Pajar a Canadian brand make them, they flip as well so you don't need to have spikes all the time. Not sure if they are available in the UK but I wore mine through the ice storm yesterday.

Goggle due north traction aids, they have spikes. I find these much better than yak tracks which have coils.
