Skip Hop Dash vs Skip Hop Duo

Libra1975 · 16/06/2008 11:05

Morning, I am trying to work out which one of the skip hop models to buy dash or duo, as a first time mum with just one baby on the way. Any opinions, advice, comments gratefully received.

Thanks.

I just bought the skip hop duo deluxe. Is actually too big for me as ds is nearly 2 but is much nicer than the older duo as bit bigger and fastens with magnets so no velcro etc. My friend had a dash and it was better as had the flapover when shut but couldn't get as much in it. I want a saddlebag I think!

im a first timer and ive bought dash deluxe has the flapover to keep things dry but has magnets not velcro so avoid waking baby if you open the bad attached to the pram. my SIL had duo but it was open at the top which i didnt like as things got wet when babysitting niece.

I have the dash
I was worried about rain getting in the duo as it just has a zip at the top and no flap

Thanks for all these, looks like the dash is the one to go for

i had the dash and the duo but sold the dash as i found it much flimsier than the duo and didnt hold nearly as much. love love love our camo duo

I also love my duo. I don't find the rain comes in as it tucks in so neatly to the buggy. And we've had loads of rain recently to test it!!

Don't know which Skip hop one I've got but its a denim one - doesn't have a flap at the top but its fab. I have never needed another changing bag, never had rain issues and its suitably masculine enough for dh to be seen with!
