DD is nearly 3 and is delighted.

After 2 boys, I am bemused.

Oh don't my DD1 is Bratz mad, she hardly watches TV so I assume this has come from nursery but it's her 4th birthday soon and all she wants is Bratz, I think they are horrendous things but I am going to have to buy her one for her birthday now, maybe I can get a less sleazy one, I think they are ugly tarty dolls.

I loved these when I was a child. The modern ones are far too garish though.

My friend hand made my dds a my little pony each when they were born - beautifully sewn.

DD is now 8 and we escaped My Little Pony and Bratz -hooray!!

I always found the concept of ponies in babywalkers etc all very odd

We did however suffer Barbie (just the dolls and clothes mainly not the 1,000,001 items of merchandise)

dd received a my little pony teapot palace complete with disco and flashing lights. my brother calls it 'my first gay disco' who thinks this shit up?
