Narrow fit "cool" shoes

My DD10 is in need of new school shoes. It's always a nightmare because she has really narrow feet.

Shes also very fussy and won't wear anything "babyish" so Clarks is out, won't wear lace up so no brogues. What she want is slip ons with a gold buckle on the front like most of the other girls but they will just flop off her feet.

Shes in start rite currently but there's none there she likes. Her current shoes are a D width.

Already dreading the secondary school shoes shopping!

Any suggestions for black shoes size 2 and very narrow fit?

Lelli Kelly's do some shoes in D width but I don't know if she'd consider any of them cool!

Have you tried New Look? I believe their standard width is a D width.

Anything Spanish, like Zara is very narrow

I don't think a teenager choose her own shoes is unreasonable

Would you wear shoes you don't like? I definitely wouldn't.

It's important she feels comfortable and happy to me, sorry you don't belive children deserve that

I did try but apparently they're babyish ha. Shes one of the youngest in the year and looks it so she's trying to fit in

We had the same issue and ended up with brogues because at least with laces you can pull them in a bit

My daughter measures a width C with the worlds slimmest ankles so I totally understand! European brands usually sold at independent shoe shops fit best, definitely not Clark’s or startrite etc. Try Froddo, Petasil, Primigi and maybe Ricosta. Not sure how “cool” they are!
