I am chronically single and will be out on the toon (Newcastle) with my girls tomorrow. Does anyone think these shorts would look good (yes I will be cold) and maybe how I could style them. Thank you!s

If I looked that good in them I’d wear them! 😂 I wear shorts on nights out but they’re velvet, much looser and teamed with thick tights. Go for it!

Perfect for a night out in Newcastle - skyscraper heels and a sparkly halter neck top will be perfect. No coat or jacket - it is February after all. Complete the look with extravagant hair extensions and lip filler.

No idea how to style them though!

In terms of styling, I can only really think of styling more structured leather shorts. Lauren Tiby on TikTok is amazing at styling them and this outfit from Hailey Bieber - love! I’m sure you’ll look amazing however you style them.

I am a bit worried about the VPL given how fitted mine are!

You could buy some.
However, I suspect you'll say you won't have time or something.
You don't need permission from a stranger on the internet to leave your knickers off, if that's what you're building up to.
I'd have some Canesten in ready though.

No I would rather wear underwear but just feel like when walking they would wedge up loads.

You may be better going for a bigger pair rather than smaller then.
M&S do some seamless knickers which might be worth a go.

I think I would go maximalist and pair it with more skin and leopard print. Maybe something strapless. Brown boots and brown bag to match the top and an oversized black leather jacket.

I would prefer the shorts to be less athletic looking though and maybe lower waisted (unless you’re wearing something really cropped).

After a couple of drinks, you’ll forget all about your wedgie though! I wish I could remember where I got it, but I had a nude, seamless thong and it honestly felt like you weren’t wearing any underwear! I almost cried when it broke because I wore that thing with every tight or satiny outfit. Seamless full briefs could also be an option? But you will have to make sure to pull your pants and shorts up at the same time so the edges don’t roll.

The girls go all out! You would have to try very hard to actually stand out, but it’s a great city.

I think they look very stylish just don’t know how they would look on me because I’m much curvier than the model
