Bedroom Furniture

We have recently moved into a new place and need to get some new bedroom furniture (wardrobes, chest of drawers etc). The last set we bought disintegrated over the years so got rid of them when we moved. This has made me nervous purchasing new ones since I don't want rubbish ones again!

Where did you get your bedroom furniture from and would you recommend them?

I've been looking at Dunelm but some of the reviews are putting me off. Too much choice it seems!

I've used these twice. Got wardrobe and bedside tables. Was great service/delivery and quality is good.
Bought dc2 a bed. Needed to be a single but for an adult. The quality is excellent but the delivery/communication wasn't so good this time. Should have been 7 days for delivery in reality was 12 weeks and limited communication. And dc had to sleep on the floor.
I would use them again as the quality is good.

Oak Furniture Land and Cotswold are both good for medium price range furniture, will certainly last well.
Have used both.

We bought our oak bedroom furniture from a local independent and are very happy with it but a deeper search showed that the same furniture is available nationally from a variety of independent stores (clearly they all buy from the same wholesalers).

If you want something sturdy that will last for years I would recommend Willis and Gambier furniture. We bought bedroom furniture in 2001 that is still like new.

If you like the look of Cotswold company there’s a place near me that sells seconds and other brands which I’ve used before, you can find them on instagram… gorgeous little things for home
