Anyone bought from Halara?

Has anyone got any experience buying from Halara? The online store that does the comfort trousers, shapewear built in etc?

I really want some casual trousers that are comfortable but struggling to get anything except plain usual leggings.

I buy sportswear from them. Really nice quality. Lasts well - no deterioration in colour/stretch. Delivery takes a while but other than that, am always pleased with them.
Pro players at tennis tournaments wear their skirts - that's where I first found out about them.
Nothing like Shein!

What makes you say that ? Have a look at where their clothes are produced and their distribution model. Looks very similar to me

The quality just isn’t like shein, I’ve bought from both.

I got 2 pair of trousers from them. I'm a 12 and got the medium with a short leg and the fit was good. It's better quality than Shein and better sizing. I don't buy from Shein but have a teenager who did for a while until they got fed up of the randomness of the sizing.

NowInNovember · 04/02/2026 19:32

I blocked the Halara ads on Instagram, though, because of the weird voiceover. It really annoyed me.

You’re the same s me then! What did you get? Do you know the name of the trouser?

I’ve got loads, unique gym leggings with buckles or lace, fake pvc leggings, leggings with studs up the side, jeggings, checkered trousers. I can share a few pics from the website if you like

Definitely not shein quality, I order from shein too and halara are far better quality and the prices reflect that.
Also yea deliverycan take a while and that’s because they don’t carry stock, they make to order which I like.

they make to order which I like.

😆

Sending anything back is a total nightmare.
Be warned.

StarCourt · 04/02/2026 19:50

I bought 2 pairs of their jeans from their Tik Tok shop. Fast delivery and great jeans

Allseeingallknowing · 04/02/2026 19:55

I bought knickers, and they fit well, but for some reason ( Something in the material?) pant liners do not stick to them, meaning you have to be extra careful that they don’t fall into the toilet.

I read somewhere it’s like shein? I don’t want to buy from shein-type stores… is it good quality?

thank you for all the responses so far!!

They sell literally the same items as Shein. As in, I've seen the same pieces of clothing on both websites, just different prices.

Ask yourself this: do you know who halara are? Who's their CEO, where's their head office, who do you send your order to, who sends your clothes to you?

ImADelightActually · 04/02/2026 20:51

Two pairs of the wide legged jeans. One pair is ok the other pair absolutely stinks of chemicals and the smell hasn’t ever gone despite being washed at least a dozen times.

ETA They refunded me with no hassle and told me no need to send the stinky pair back.

I really rate the waffle trousers, have multiple colours. Very comfy and flattering fit. I've lost some weight recently and just replaced them in a size down too.
I think they're good quality, wash well, nothing like shein, but I only have the one style so maybe others are.

I have loads and they are much better quality.

I’ve got some of their dungarees which I absolutely love, they’re so comfortable. I’ve also got 2 pairs of their waffle trousers which I really like, and one pair of their workwear basic trousers which are ok but the fit around the waist isn’t quite right (slightly baggy while the rest fits perfectly, so sizing down would be too tight).

SayDoWhatNow · 04/02/2026 21:19

If you want to try the brand, have a look on Vinted. Halara often do a buy one get another half price promo and people sell the second item on if they don't like it.

I got 2 of the dresses with the long wrap ties off Vinted. Sizing is generous - I'm 5'7 and wore a size M as maternity wear throughout my pregnancy last year.

Pros are easy to wash and no ironing needed. Looked like the dress in the ads.

Cons were the quality of the finish was not amazing.

NippyNinjaCrab · 04/02/2026 21:21

I've been tempted to buy for just bombing about the house but i don't want to waste money. I've never bought from Shein, Temu or tik tok for comparison.

Slowdownwardtrajectory · 04/02/2026 21:24

Poor quality, weird fit, returns process a nightmare

Nothing like Shein in terms of quality. I stress I have only bought sportswear from Halara. Since I started buying they have branched out into all kinds of mostly leisure wear. The material is thick, stitching is good. I bought once from Shein and never again.
I don't know about the ethical rating. I will have a look at that compared to other sportswear.

Adelle79360 · 05/02/2026 19:42

Have any petite ladies tried the trousers? I’ve been tempted - but some petite styles from other shops are still far too long for me, and I don’t want to be stuck with things that are hard to return!

GardenGaff · 05/02/2026 19:56

They are definitely like Shein. Cheap, poor quality, ill fitting trousers which had a really strong fishy/chemical smell.

Trying to return anything to them is a nightmare and just not cost effective.

I gave up in the end and sold the items I'd bought on Vinted (I had to wash them first because they stunk so badly, so I couldn't even sell them as 'brand new with tags'), and only got half my money back.

ABeerInTheSunshineMakesMeHappy · 05/02/2026 21:20

I’ve bought two pairs of jeans from there. First pair a pale denim and they were so comfy and fit perfectly. Unfortunately I tumble dried them and they shrunk. The second pair I bought, different colour, are sized differently and are a bit on the large size. They are so very comfortable though. My waist is large in comparison to my hips and I find it difficult to get trousers which are a good fit. They are quite thin fabric though so not really for winter wear.

ABeerInTheSunshineMakesMeHappy · 05/02/2026 21:22

I think when people are saying that they are like Shein is because they are shipped from China and I’ll admit I’m not too happy with that aspect.
