Vestiare Collective complaint/refund?

Hi all, hoping this is the right board.

Does anyone have any experience with Vestiaire Collective complaints as a buyer?

I recently bought a dress from there which has quite a lot of staining now it has arrived. This was not written or pictured on the listing, though the item was marked as being second hand.

The staining isn't terrible (small brown spots) - but it is noticeable and they are in multiple places.

I can report the item and intend to but wondered if anyone has any experience with the process - especially as tbh I'd just quite like a partial refund and to try and remove/lessen the spots rather than a full return? I just wouldn't have bought the item full price if I had known about the spots.

Did you pay for in person checking?

I have bought from them before and have never had any significant problem, but I’m very aware that other customers have been seriously disappointed with Vestiaire’s response when there is an issue. They’re quite likely to suggest you re-list the item if you don’t want it.

I also once had a skirt (that I didn’t have checked because it wasn’t terribly expensive) arrive with a few marks on the front. But it was linen and they washed out easily. I don’t think I’d have bothered trying to get any recompense - it’s just not how they operate.
