Gift ideas for post-mastectomy

My friend is having an elective double mastectomy & reconstruction soon. I don't live in our home town but the hospital is handy for a visit & I'd like to bring her some nice gifts rather than pointless flowers or typical hospital snacks.
I've had a look on Etsy for ideas, there are a lot of pillow type things in fussy fabrics, which I'm not sure she'd be keen on.
I don't actually see her that often so I don't know what kinds of products she likes, but I'm thinking something like nice hand cream - L'Occitane or the like, some indulgent snack things to help get through hospital food & tolerable/comforting if she's feeling ill/sore.
Does anyone have any experience of getting things in hospital that they loved, or any suggestions that would work? I'm baring in mind I don't want to significantly add to her take-home luggage either!

Thank you, these look great, I wonder if her husband or family will be sorting stuff like this. I might try & give him a shout to scope it out, because I think she'd really appreciate one of those.
