Hold Ups that Stay Up!

I find tights uncomfortable so have always worn hold ups. I have been loyal to M&S for two decades, however since they went through an ‘update’ a year or two back, they simply do not stay up. As soon as you walk any distance down they come.

To avoid wasting time and money trying to find a replacement I wondered if anyone had any recommendations of an alternative brand?

You've just unlocked a memory for me... sadly! I'm in my 70s so was at school many years ago, but I do remember walking home with a briefcase in one hand and a cookery basket in the other, while my Pretty Polly hold-ups gave up the ghost and slid down my legs...

Many many years ago I would wear Wolford which were brilliant.

Waitrose! The only ones that stay up for me

A massive thank you for your comments.

I’ve been out and bought both Wolford and John Lewis/Waitrose. I’m delighted to say that both stayed up! My preference is Wolford as I found them more comfortable but they are expensive.

Thank you again - I can throw out the pop socks!
