Vinted reverting to the UK sizing

This may be good news for anyone frustrated to the recent sizing change on Vinted. It certainly is for
me. They are moving back to the original UK sizing system. So glad! I was about to go back to ebay until I found this out.

I have only bought things recently where the seller includes a photo of the label. Stuff that fits me has been appearing under all kinds of categories, it’s clear lots of sellers don’t understand how it’s supposed to work.

This! Definitely. Drives me mad on trousers, very few put leg length on. I have to message them
separately to ask, but then most don’t reply. So they miss out on a sale. I’ve stopped buying trouser where leg length not stated, as bought two pairs of trousers lately that I love but are too short!

I found out today when I messaged their customer service to complain about it (and say I’d be returning to ebay!). I’ll post a screenshot in a mo if I can work out how.

This is good news as I was listing the UK size in my product description. It was very annoying as as there’s a diff between a size 8 and their S sizing which was 8-10!

They totally fucked up the UK market and I hope it's cost them dearly.

I hope this is true as the sizing is terrible now on there. Somethings I need a size 12 so I have to search through 14s and mediums, and sometimes I need a small so have to sift through 8s and 10s , and sometimes there’s no photo or mention of what the actual size is so it could be anything. Really annoying.

Exactly what I said to their customer service. Also queried why I had to conform my browsing and shopping to international sizing when, as far as I can tell, I only access listings in the UK.

OT but i really hope that eBay will follow and do away with bloody simple delivery which has screwballed the site so much. My sales are half what they were and it's the only thing that has changed.

The last 12 I bought was listed as 20-22 🤷‍♀️

Honestly I don’t believe that they’re changing back. I think the help person (bot?) is mistaken and has told you something that’s not correct.

I started with a bot then got transferred to a human. Maybe the human was messing with me but I hope not!

I had a look on there this morning again and the size categories have actually gone back to normal (S=8/10, M=12/14, etc). It’s just that the listings all need to be reversed and everyone needs time to go back to doing it the proper way.
