Restaurant Highchair Search

Does anyone know where you can purchase the bulk standard square wooden highchairs that you find in restaurants like Debenhams, Moto Services and even McDonalds? We are looking at donating one to our local pub, so that we can use it when we go for DD, but they are lacking in space and these would be ideal.
I have searched the internet in all the places I know of, but can't find anything other than in the USA - not much help!
Any suggestions would be really useful.

Don't Ikea do something? Might be plastic though. I can't really rmemeber as it is so long since I dared set foot in Ikea - can't stand the crowds!

The highchair they use in the restaurant in Ikea is one that they sell. It's not one of those Wooden ones though - it's white plastic and very cheap to buy (nice to use too - my mum has one for us to use at her house). You don't have to have a tray, so it can go next to the table and the legs come off if you want to collapse it. It certainly takes up less floor space than most other highchairs that you'd have in your home - not sure how it compares to the wooden ones in Debenhams etc. though.

Tesco.com children's warehouse do a good wooden highchair like the triptrap ones but with a tray. I think it's about £99. Mind you, last time I went on there they were having their sale and most of the good stuff had gone. Maybe they've restocked by now...

If your pub is lacking in space, have you thought about getting a booster seat. I've just bought a mothercare reclining booster with removable tray and I am finding it very good (only 34.99). Apparently you can only get it from the catalogue or internet.
Have a look on the mothercare website.

Hi Kiwishell, I'd second Sueanna's suggestion about a portable booster seat - we have one by SafetyFirst. It goes everywhere and we use it at home now instead of a regular highchair. It's so easy to fix to any kind of chair, is light and easy to fold up again.
