best ever toilet seat

I need a new toilet seat & would like recommendations please. Obviously it needs to be easily cleaned & not too uncomfortable! Its for a 1960's house which is modern in decor

after the sitting room & kitchen it is the most visited room in the house so I might as well give it some consideration!

Measure the width and length of the pan and check them against the dimensions of the seat before you buy anything.

I've had a Croydex one which seems ok.

Oh yes please, I'd like some recommendations please. The last one I bought has a ridiculous amount on moulding on the underside and is really difficult to clean properly, so that's a consideration too.

Make sure you check it’s the right shape -round/square/D shaped. Definitely soft close. Also wooden ones aren’t as cold on the bum on chilly mornings 😁.
Croydex is a decent brand.

Soft close and easy to remove (ours has one button to press, whole thing lifts off and I put it in my bathwater while I'm drying off. Quick soak, a sponge over and then wipe dry. Sparkly).

I've dug out the leaflet (I'm a saddo) Croydex Constance/Michigan soft close and quick release toilet seat. Yes, v comfy - teenage GS spends hours on it with his phone!

Don’t have a brand recommendation but I have a wooden toilet seat in one bathroom and am going to put one in to the other loos because it is so much nicer both in feel and looks than others.
