safe and comfortable and suitable from 5 months. I am clueless so don't worry about being too obvious!

Antilop Ikea is fab. Hardwearing and cleans up even after paint sessions... we also have a TT and lovely though it is, the Antilop wins for practicality. We will though of course be able to use the TT for a long while...

I would recommend the baby dan - its half the price of the trip trap and does exactly the same thing. We got one from kiddies kitchen also picked up a little pocket highchair for out and about.

The ikea one and then when older get a booster seat . We have plastic booster seat from mothercare , very practical and dd can eat at the table. I would not recommend buying those expensive m&p highchairs , they are nightmare to clean and I ended up throwing mine out ...a waste of money !!

Thank you for starting this thread - really helpful. We have a various highchairs and boosters including a big, expensive M&P one which is awful. Very comfortable for a little one but a NIGHTMARE to clean. Please take the advice and don't even think about buying one! I'm going to clean mine up (which will take ages) and sell it. And then I think I'll head to IKEA following the recommendations on here. We have a Dan chair but we do need one with a tray too.
