Hi,

I have never used Vinted only Ebay.

Just wondering what you think of each.
Which is better for stuff?
Which has better safeguards?

Thank you.

What exactly are you looking to buy?

For clothes, vinted. For other stuff, eBay.

I used to use vinted a lot but have given up on it recently. Between the changes to the size categories and delayed/missing parcels it's not worth the hassle.

I agree - Vinted for clothes and eBay for other stuff.
If it’s any help I had never used Vinted until 3 or 4 months ago. I used eBay for everything but when they introduced simple delivery back in April I took all my listings off in the hope that when all the complaints about the new arrangements had been sorted I’d start listing again.
The number of complaints on the eBay forums seemed to be never ending so I decided to give Vinted a go whilst I waited for things to settle and it’s worked brilliantly for me. I limited my postage options to Royal Mail and Evri and ignore any offers received as I sell cheaply anyway. Touching wood everything has sold really quickly I’ve had no postage issues at all, despite the fact most buyers tend to choose Evri.
The way both sites work is now pretty similar but it would seem that long time Vinted users are not overjoyed that they are trying to compete with the range of items eBay sell and that those who have been with eBay a long time don’t like the fact that they now have no control over postage and buyers like on Vinted have to pay a fee on top of the purchase price
I have recently gone back to listing non clothing items on eBay and have had no issues with package sizes as most of what I sell fits into a small parcel size
I’ve had no issues with either site transferring my sales money into my bank account

For clothes, vinted. For other stuff, eBay.

In a nutshell. Ebay is better for tech and collectibles. Vinted for clothes especially bundles.

Vinted is much easier to sell on, and things go a lot quicker. If you have an expensive item, I would try and sell on Ebay, as the customer service is better if things go wrong.
