What’s the sexiest male fragrance you’ve smelt? DH birthday coming up and my favourite fragrance on him has always been Mont Blanc Explorer but looking for other recommendations.

I'm well jel on those of you that can name men's fragrances that you love.
My dh hates anything like that and the best I can hope for is a whiff of his deodorant !

I feel your pain. When we first met nearly 30 years ago he wore Davidoff Blue Water (original version, i think it's slightly different now?) I loved it. I don't know what happened but one Christmas I got him a set of spray, shower gel etc and he ended up only using the shower getl and not bothering with any spray. In fact he's worn Lynx for years now🙄, like a 14 year old boy. I absolutely can't stand it, when he sprays it in the bathroom I can barely breathe and have to open a window and it just stinks.

Eau Sauvage, but not Sauvage which is sweeter.

DP’s secret weapon is Eau de Séducteur by Fragonard. Fuck me (literally). I bought it for him.

Bleu de Chanel. Had a very glorious 14 hours with a man who wears this.

For me it's Dior Fahrenheit. I would stick to the Mont Blanc because for me a scent is so individual. Although I love Fahrenheit I'd never buy it for my husband because it invokes memories of a very hot fling with man almost twice my age. It just wouldn't be ' right' on anyone else iyswim.

100% with you on Fahrenheit. I’ve stopped on the street and turned round to see who’s wearing it on more than one occasion!

The original Boss, now sold as Boss Number 1. DH wore it when we met and the scent takes me back to the days when my tummy flipped over when I caught sight of him unexpectedly at work. It was unavailable for a while and he had a brief flirtation with Terre de Hermes and it was nice but not the same.

I do also have a bit of a thing for Givenchy Gentleman. I had an agonisingly intense crush on one of my teachers and he wore it. Again, just a whiff takes me back to those heady days!
