Canon Ixus 75

Does anyone have one? My camera has died and I need a new one by the weekend (DS 1st birthday!) so was wondering if anyone had an opinion on this one.

I don't need fancy features although I do use my camera a lot and would like one with not too much of a delay - my current Nikon takes ages to actually take the picture once you press the button so you often miss the smile - and a red eye reduction so I don't need to spend hours editing them on the boots machine!

Apart from that I just want something that's easy to just point and shoot and not too pricey!

I have an older-model Ixus and love it to bits
thwe best way to assess delay is go to Currys or somewhere and try them all

Thanks - will definitely check out the 950 too because that does look like a great deal. Can't believe the timing of mine breaking!

We were looking for one for my mum when mine started playing up a bit so I have one now just in case my old one goes completely belly up (not that it is all that old IMO but these days things don't last!). Haven't had a chance to play with it yet though. I'm sure it is probably pretty good esp. for the price.

I love mine. Was easy to get to grips with and pics (mainly of new baby and family etc so far) have been great.

we have the 75 - is fantastic! great pics, easy to use, loads of features! is our 3rd IXUS and all have been fab!!

Two years ago I was going to buy an IXUS. I love Canon and already had two film SLRs. Then I thought, bugger it and got a digital SLR (EOS 350d). That 950 looks a good price.
