Hello, does anyone have any experience please of selling larger items (household/furniture) on Vinted? I have an item I would like to sell for collection, but unsure how this might work on Vinted which uses shipping labels for relatively small parcels.

Would facebook market place be better?

I’ve done it twice. Once it’s sold and you go to the shipping label section you are asked to choose a date of collection. This will mean that the courier will come to your house any time between 7am and 9pm. On the day
of collection you will be get a 2 hour window. You will also need to print the label and stick to the parcel.

i Did this on saturday, I only received my 2 hour collection text at midday. Unlessc are planning at staying at home all day the service is inconvenient. You also only have 5 days to book the collection.

Historically I did and it was a faff, as despite listed as collection only i had people after purchasing then asking if I could just post it on ( large mirror!!)

I have recently sold on ebay without issue a large item. We arranged a convenient date & time for collection, and they were given a code to hand over. All good.

Many thanks for your replies. It looks like Vinted is not the best platform for what I'm trying to sell. xx
