I want to treat myself to a nice winter coat with some overtime I recently earned.
I saw a woman in the perfect coat. Olive green diamond quilt with a curved hem. Really puffy- think definitely real down. Almost like a bubble wrap sort of three dimensional shape.
cannot find it anywhere. Wish I’d stopped her in the street!

These are lovely! I’m looking for the dimensions and style of the regatta one combined with the angular puffiness of the man’s bubble one.
Those Barbours are really nice. Think I want real down if possible though.

Ooh this lovely - amazing reviews also! Unfortunately they don’t do it in a petite fit so it’d be too long for me 🙃

I bought a Regatta waterproof puffer long jacket in sales last year - reduced from £120.00 to £47.00. It's served me well so far, although I haven't fully tested its waterproofing properties in torrential rain on a Scottish hillside (yet). The only thing that bothers me is the zip is a bit flimsy and crap - can take five minutes to worry it into position.

Other than that, very toasty and comfortable.

I don't have any recommendations for a specific coat, but I have a down puffer coat which is lovely to wear - so light, but cosy, not bulky and packs away quite small.

I would prioritise down filling over everything else! Mine is about 3 years old and showerproof, so nice to wear.

That’s nice but it’s a long coat. Shape wise it’s like the passenger one but it’s got a pronounced angular puffiness.
