Good quality Xmas wrapping paper

I’m gearing up to wrap my presents over the next couple of weeks (woop!). Where is everyone getting their Christmas wrapping paper from? The quality of a lot of wrapping paper has gone massively downhill over the last few years and I can only find really thin, easily ripped paper. I end up chucking half of it as it rips as I wrap the pressies.

Where can I find thick but pretty wrapping paper from this year?

John Lewis has a good quality.

I’ve had some nice paper from Matalan, Next or John Lewis.

Thanks both - hadn’t thought of John Lewis!

I like IKEA and John Lewis for wrapping paper.

Costco if you know anyone who is a member - truly massive rolls long, wide, thick and reversible (patterns on both sides).

Also their heavy duty tin foil is the best ever!

Lidl

This stuff is really good and comes in red, gold and silver. Those colours sell out quickly around now though. At some point they do a deal like 3for2 but I can’t remember when. Might be summer! www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-plain-kraft-wrapping-paper-10m/green/p4083084

Ah the offer is on now but only on the 4 metre rolls, not the 10m I linked to above

M&S. has helpful cutting lines on the back too!

I've bought mine from Dunelm for the last few years, decent thickness while still being foil-free and recyclable. They have had some lovely prints.
