Has anyone changed from the large life book to the pocket one? I really want the pocket one this year as life book is too big to fit in all my bags but I can fit loads of scribbling in it (it does keep me organised I am hopelessly forgetful), I'm wondering if I'll manage with the pocket one. Am with Crocky to be ridiculously excited about the leather cover!

I've abandoned calendar completely since got the life book. I can't have things in two places - recipe for disaster for the chronically disorganised.

hana · 06/06/2008 17:52

have similar calendar thing on fridge and couldn't live without it - everything gets written down on that.

DANCESwithLordPottingtonSmythe · 06/06/2008 17:53

I'll email you Cod. Will be checking reg. on website for pocket life book cover, want to get a fab colour

Crocky · 17/06/2008 19:27

Site now back open with next years diaries.

RipMacWinkle · 17/06/2008 19:32

I think i'll be getting the pocket one this year too. Loved the idea of the life book but far too bulky for every day carrying about.

Useful if you work from home though I guess...

Are they doing the pocket diaries with covers now??

Alambil · 17/06/2008 22:16

how big is the normal family life book?

I desperately need something for all DS's school/childcare stuff and uni come Sept - I feel this may be the only thing I can use!

BlueDragonfly · 17/06/2008 22:19

I heart my pocket one! (TY cod )

I had to cut it so i could still use my filofax but i will hopefully get another for next year- tis fab!

BlueDragonfly · 17/06/2008 22:20

is that your link cod? the link that means you get something from orders?

RipMacWinkle · 17/06/2008 22:21

It's A5 size but because it's for a full year it's fairly chunky. You'd have to have a pretty big bag to hold it. I found myself carrying it an a separate bag (e.g. little brown bag) but felt silly so stopped.

If you use a big bag ti would be fine. A bit like carrying a hardback book around (weight wise) I would think.

Does htis help?

RipMacWinkle · 17/06/2008 22:21

Actually - not as chunky or weighty as I'm making out. Like a thin hardback.

It's more bulky than anything.

Alambil · 17/06/2008 22:30

Yes, that's helpful thanks I'm considering one of these instead of a diary AND an academic year diary.. so 1 bulky book will be just as hard as an A4 academic one plus normal diary...

Will save up my pennies for one before uni!

4andnotout · 17/06/2008 22:33

Can someone tell me how much the pocket book is as i cant get into the shop for some reason?
