Have used dysons previously but the most recent just bit the dust and I was never overly impressed anyway.

Any recommendations?

claricebeansmum · 05/06/2008 21:05

Sebo
It is now 8 years old and has never gone wrong. Lovely.

harpomarx · 05/06/2008 21:06

erm, what is a cylinder hoover?

is it the upright ones or the vacuum cleaners?

(not good on technical domestic stuff)

HuwEdwards · 05/06/2008 21:06

suctions gone. It was blocked and I tried to 'break' the blockage by taking the cylinder thing that collects the crap, off while the thing was still turned on.

Now, nada suction.

cyclinder = not upright to me (but could be talking technical bollocks here )

ok, no clearer then Huw!

but, as it happens, I have a Sebo too.
It is great and even looks funky. I got it very cheap because it was too funky for the area where I live so the local store sold them off cheap.

You can push it along and then detach a bit to use as a vacuum cleaner.

harpo ok, I see what you mean. Thanks for link!
