Perfect short sleeved top for under work jacket / cardigan

Help me please! Looking for good, smart, short sleeved tops to go under work jackets and structured cardigan.
Cotton t-shirts start to look knackered after a few washes, and white washes so badly!
I tend to go for coloured, patterned, blouses as they are more forgiving if not perfectly ironed and work well with black trousers and jackets, but i want something plain I can wear with coloured and patterned jackets and trousers!

The third and fourth ones look like they could be good options, shame they don’t have them in other (and none white colours!).
I will try them and report back

I've bought a couple of tops from H&M, like a round-neck t-shirt but with stretch and waist length (so no messy tuck-ins). Cotton based but with elastane/lycra (?). Colours not exciting but smart under jackets and cardigans, one was ribbed.
