Has anyone done this? How do you get a copy of your prescription?

When you get your eyes tested they are supposed to give you a copy, SD.

I've got an old prescription, but last time I had a lens check he gave me stronger lenses but not an updated prescription Does this mean I can't buy them online?

Yes - postoptics. Highly recommended, been using them for years. Ask your optician for copy of your contact lens prescription - they're obliged to give it to you on request.

Just ask him for an up-to-date one. You can buy lenses online for 1 year after the date of your last test.

Don't opticians get pissed off if you ask for your prescription in order to buy elsewhere?

Mine did when I first asked, years ago - but hey, not my problem! They're much more used to it now, probably won't turn a hair.

Actually if you know all your lens details and the date of your last test, just fill those in - you don't need the physical piece of paper, just the info.
