Price of beef

Visited Sainsbury’s today and was shocked at the price of a small joint of beef at £25. I haven’t bought it for years. Is this a reasonable amount to pay? For 4 people Sunday roast

Meat should be expensive, if the animals are reared well (not fed on shite, pumped with drugs and kept indoors etc) and farmers are to make any money or at least not make a loss.
Cheap meat means someone is losing out along the way, whether that's the animals, the farmer, the environment, the consumer... or often all of these.
