plastic-free food storage & covers

my ancient tupperwear is breaking or lost their lids & I need more food storage but really want to avoid anything with plastic. It needs to be suitable for freezing (& ideally microwave though this is less important) & a 500ml box rather than bags. In an ideal world it be made in the UK!

I'm also looking for food covers - not beeswax as you can't put them in the wash! The showercap style are perfect but I can't find any pretty ones made in the UK - the nice ones all seem to be shipped from overseas

Can’t go wrong with pyrex glass. There’s always stainless steel and silicone

hiya, completely agree.
I should've been clearer - can anyone make any recommendations of UK producers/stockists? I'm keen to avoid ikea & would like to support small companies

I think you will struggle to find small companies nowadays. If it is just for putting stuff in the fridge, I always just use bowls with plates over the top or similar. Works fine.
