Magnetic cupboard/drawer locks, anyone used them?

Have to childproof the kitchen as DS shows an unnerving interest in getting into the knife drawer. Just wondered if anyone has used this kind of magnetic lock for their cupboards/drawers, do they work well?

Yes, we used the original (I think) Magnalock. A bit fiddly to fix on, but very good in use. You do have to be really disciplined about where you put the 'key'. If you put it down inside the cupboard and then close the door...

Find them brillant. Have only the one lock on the cleaning materials cupboard. One handed opening almost, lock stays on fridge (yes agree with prettycandles, get into the habit of putting the lock back as soon as you have used it )

Yes, we like them too. Really neat in use seem to be completely childproof. If you lose the key, you can buy spares from Boots pretty easily. We tend to stick a spare on the toaster so at least there's always one just in case.
