Can you help me shop for a good drone?

I'm looking to buy a decent drone for my very techy son's birthday. Budget is around £100. Can any of you helpful ones assist me? I don't even know where to start 🙈🙈

Good drones cost quite a lot more than that, unfortunately. DJI is a good make, but their cheapest is about £160 and most are dearer than that, in the £300+ zone. Hopefully someone will have ideas at the more reasonably priced end of the spectrum.

I would say - from experience - that if you buy a man a drone, you should expect every walk to be very slow indeed!
