Hi,
I have had my p&t for a few months, and already have a tear on the handlebar caused by folding it up. When I fold it and lock it in place to lift into the car, the only way I can do it is to stand it on it's handlebar, but this seems to cause damage! Am I doing it wrong?????

Thanks

hi kaybee!!!

i'm trying to think how i do mine, i think i have to lift it at the handle bar and this allows the wheel to fall back and then it all falls nicely into place.

i have the e3 though, which one do you have??

how is it going with the 2 boys??

xx

Hello! We were just discussing on the other thread where everyone had gone and then you turn up here!

THe 2 boys are ok, we are all setting into some kind of routine. I am still getting used to juggling the two of them, it's so hard when they both want something at the same time isn't it!

I have the e3 too. Can't understand what i'm doing wrong!!?!!?

xx

I unlock the bit that makes it bend then I think I turn it over so that it's falt on the floor with the front wheel on top, then get hold of the handle bar and hood to lift it. Does that make sense? It;s in the car now and haven't got it out to check but definitely at no point is it standing on the handlebar.

still very confused! will have to bring it inside to have a big practice session i think!

Kaybee - if you put the bumper bar cover on the handlebar it stops it getting damaged/wet when raining. I also found this problem putting e3 into boot of car.

video demo on kiddicare must include the folding I think

Kaybeeand2boys · 05/06/2008 08:31

thanks annwoo, thats a good idea. tried playing with it and consulted the booklet but that shows it being folded standing on it's handlebar!

I think I do it like birdyarms describes, but it does end up on its handlebar, though I've had mine for ages and it hasn't damaged the cover of the handlebar at all. Can't think how else you could do it.

Kaybeeand2boys · 05/06/2008 09:06

thanks theblonde but the vid doesnt have folding instructions! Might have to go into mothercare thou they probaby won't have a clue!

I rarely fold mine but I guess I generally pull it up by the bumper bar to fold
