can anyone help me with my TOMY WALKABOUT ADVANCED INTERCOM?

I bought this about 2 weeks ago as last one broke but no matter what channel i put it on there is a constant loud sort of buzzing noise coming from the parent unit. I can turn it down to v quiet but defeats the object as cant hear ds then!

ANyone know what i can do?

ours did that after a while, I think its interference from other intercoms or apliances that use same frequencies. Not much you an do apart from getting one on a diferent freq., we just stopped using it and found we could hear ok anyway.
