Lost dd's lovely blouse - any ideas where to track down a replacement?

We used to have this - from French ebay and the wrong size (dd needs an age 7-8) but it looks like it didn't come home from holiday

It was so useful and so pretty and went with everything and, sob.

Does anyone have any ideas? other than my hovering over ebay forever?

Have you checked La Redoute for something similar, or does it have to be the same?

I have checked, yes - no Bonpoint range at La Redoute this year ... and to be honest I am yearning after that exact blouse.

Bit like the eternal lost soft toy situation.

Not at all sure how you could find that exact same blouse (since it must be 2/3 seasons old by now, if you bought it on ebay).

But, if ever you are in Paris, Bonpoint (the real thing, not La Redoute ersatz) has a permanent sale shop on rue de l'Université. Or, if you want a huge choice of that sort of white blouse or tunic (that little French girls wear all the time), go to the Bonpoint superstore flagship on rue de Tournon. A whole afternoon's entertainment (it has a café and garden too)

The original came from La Redoute, last year, not ebay - but you're right, it's several seasons old. I am happy to replace with a second-hand one, so wondering whether there is anywhere other than ebay to look - are there any other French sites like that, Anna?

(And thanks for the Bonpoint sale shop tip. It's on my list for next visit!)

I'm afraid I don't know anything about the market for second-hand children's clothes in France ... but will post if I hear of something.

The Bonpoint sale (twice a year, once after Christmas, once in July) is fabulous (-50% on that season's collection) if you are on their customer list and go on the very first day of the customer-only sale (which is on the Saturday before the official sales begin) at opening time. No-one checks whether you really have an invitation.

Comptoir des Cotonniers have lovely white tunics very like this for girls - I saw some in their shop them this week. Pricey but gorgeous.
